There was this one time that a then new friend promised that he would give me a pizza when he did what he wanted so badly to do (this happened on 2008 so I forgot the details). He did it, so I kept pestering him for a pizza for 2 sems. I did not know why, but I just didn’t forget his promise. I was 50-50 that he would actually give me one, but for the sake of conversation or just to pass time, or every time I remembered it, I reminded him of it. So after 2 sems, he showed up outside my dorm and delivered a mini pizza.

I was just so thankful of the act. In internet terms, my faith in humanity was restored. It seemed that someone could actually keep a teeny tiny promise, so after that, it is very disappointing when anyone would break a promise.
